*Do’s*

* Keep only necessary programs installed; uninstall anything you don’t use.
* Disable unnecessary startup programs to make boot faster.
* Use the Windows disk cleanup tool to remove temporary files.
* Keep Windows updated for better performance.
* Enable high-performance power plan when plugged in.(Go to setting>system>power&battery, and switch power mode        Balanced to Best performance)
* Close background apps that are not needed.
* Restart the laptop periodically to clear Temp. memory.
* Keep antivirus scans scheduled, but run them when not actively working.

*Don’ts*

  • Do not run too many heavy programs at the same time.
    * Do not leave unnecessary browser tabs open for long periods.
    * Do not overload the desktop with too many files or shortcuts.
    * Do not disable essential Windows services randomly.
    * Do not ignore system updates for performance improvements.
    * Do not use background syncing apps unnecessarily (OneDrive, cloud backups, etc.).
    * Do not install third-party “speed booster” software from untrusted sources.
    * Do not leave the system running 24/7 without restart.
    * Do not clutter the download folder with large files you don’t need.
